Two workshops around the topics of social entrepreneurship and social innovation took place on May 20th and May 21st, 2019 in Prešov and Banská Bystrica. Concepts of social innovation and social entrepreneurship were introduced and good practices examples were shared during the workshops. Subsequently, a discussion on local experience, education system in Slovakia and opportunities for development of entrepreneurial thinking at schools, with special emphasis on social dimension and social entrepreneurship took place. “Building better lives. Social enterprise in schools” resource pack for teachers, translated to Slovak as part of People to People Slovakia project in cooperation with British Council Slovakia was introduced and the participants discussed about its potential use to support entrepreneurial thinking at elementary and secondary schools.
