On May 15-16th the Non-for-profit EPIC and stakeholders from Gemer took part at the workshop in Soria. The objective of the workshop was to specify some of the measures of the regional action plans. The joint action focuses on the trainer-training on social enterpreunership in partner regions. The main output of the workshop is a thematic index that will serve as a basis for developing educational and training modules.
Alongside the group work, we also had the opportunity to become familiar with few more examples of good practice in social entrepreneurship based in Castillia and Leon. One of the introduced companies is La Exclusiva – a delivery service for inhabitants living in the remore rural areas of Soria district. The service provides the delivery of day-to-day goods, such as groceries, at no additional costs for the customer. We also saw a demostration of traditional way of making butter, which at non-commercial basis is maintained by a local cooperative in Soria, and an ecological trout-farm in El Burgo de Osma.
